My Resume

Experience In the Community

With the privilege of serving two terms on the Enoch City Council, I have gained the insight that it is on the local level of governing that affects us in the every day - whether that be issues with local parks, noise ordinances, police and fire service, or helping our neighbors. In addition, I have served with the Water Board, Sewage Committee, and Planning Commission. I, along with my talented family, have helped with many July 4th celebrations and with the Wreaths Across America events.

Background & Education

I grew up in the valley, attended school and worked on my grandfather’s (Ted & Vana Nelson) farm. My upbringing taught me a love of history, hard work and craftsmanship. Met my husband, Lester Ross, and married in 2000.  We made the ultimate decision to raise our family here, committed to working on the family farm and built our home in Enoch 2008.  After graduating from Southern Utah University in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. I had the privilege for many years to be a stay-at-home mom raising our four young children. Also, during this time I began volunteering in many areas the community. These invaluable experiences led to my current positions in our local government and career as the Curator and Education Liaison at our local museum.

Plans and Vision Serving as Mayor

As Mayor, I would like to continue working on drainage projects, road planning, and water management. Water is a precious resource across Utah, and Enoch will consistently work on supply sources, storage, and increasing the use of secondary water whenever possible. I have learned so much from the amazing citizens of Enoch, and it is my honor to serve them.
